James Elmer

James Elmer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. James started their career at the National Institutes of Health as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow from 1997 to 1999. James then joined Life Technologies as an Associate Scientist I and later as a Quality Specialist II from 1999 to 2001.

In 2001, James joined Wellstat Biologics as a Quality Analyst and later became a Clinical Programmer Analyst from 2002 to 2005. James then moved to Restek Corporation in 2005 as an Applications Programmer.

James joined Minitab in 2006 and held various roles over the years. James started as a Database Developer I from 2006 to 2007, then became a Database Developer II from 2007 to 2010. From 2011 to 2014, they were a Senior Database Developer. In 2014, they were promoted to Staff Web Developer, where they successfully led a team responsible for designing and implementing new license vendor's APIs with the company's website, support tool, CRM, and SSRS reports. James also played a key role in designing the database schema to support storage of messages and their utilization in internal tools and reports.
