Jose' Vargas

Jose Vargas has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jose' has held various roles at different companies throughout their career.

Starting with their current position, Jose is currently a Staff Software Development Systems Engineer at Minitab, a role they have been in since January 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Senior Software Development Systems Engineer at Minitab from January 2022 to January 2023. In this role, they served as a leader on internal projects and as a technical lead on cross-departmental projects.

Before joining Minitab, Jose worked as a Web Developer at Dynamik Studios from July 2006 onwards. Jose Vargas has a diverse education history. Jose' pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Fayetteville State University, attending from 2020 to 2024. Prior to that, they completed a We Design Diploma from The Art Institutes in 2007, specializing in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia, and Information Resources Design. In 2003, Jose obtained a certification in Audio Engineering from Omega Studios' School of Applied Recording Arts & Sciences.

In addition to their formal education, Jose has also obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed the Git Essential Training: The Basics course from LinkedIn. In 2018, they obtained certification in PHP: Design Patterns from LinkedIn. Moreover, they completed the How To Use Linux Academy: Intro to Site Features & Service course from Linux Academy in 2019 and the SumoLogic Fundamentals certification from Sumo Logic in 2020. Furthermore, they expanded their skills by completing the Azure Front Door certification from LinkedIn in 2022, and the Kubernetes Essential Training: Application Development certification from LinkedIn in the same year.
