Meegan Tomlins

Meegan Tomlins began their work experience as a Senior Composition Specialist at NPC, Inc. Integrated Print & Digital Solutions in August 2001. Meegan worked in this role until January 2006.

From February 2006 to August 2016, Meegan worked at Minitab Inc. as a Senior Content Engineer. Their responsibilities included leading the development of a multi-product, multi-language product documentation system. Meegan was responsible for the front-end design and development of XSLT plugins for automated publication to Azure hosted sites.

In 2016, they worked as a Senior Consultant at Ryffine for a six-month period.

From February 2017 to February 2019, Meegan was self-employed as an Independent Consultant, specializing in DITA Publication and Content Management System Engineering.

Since July 2018, Meegan has been employed at Minitab as a Web Developer. In January 2021, they were promoted to the role of Staff Front-End Web Developer.

Meegan Tomlins attended the University at Albany, SUNY from 1993 to 1997, where they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English and Linguistics. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) degree in Creative Writing at Wichita State University from 1997 to 2000. Additionally, Meegan attended the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension Program to study Java, Design Patterns, and UML, although the specific years of their enrollment are not provided. Meegan has also obtained a certification called "The Sequel to SQL" from Code School, though the exact date of achievement is unknown.
