Thiru Murugan

Thiru Murugan has a varied work experience. Thiru started their career in 2011 as a Co-Founder at OrengTree Technologies, a search engine company incubated by E cell of REC. In this role, they were responsible for marketing and product innovations. In 2012, they became a Co-Founder of Startup Adikal Food Delivery at your door step, an e-commerce store in food delivery. In 2013, they took on the role of Entrepreneur In Residence at www.mybookshoppe.com, where they streamlined the physical bookstore to the online store. In 2016, they were a Marketing Intern at T V Sundram Iyengar & Sons Limited, where they worked on customer acquisition strategy and implementation of Roadside assistance service. In 2017, they joined State Bank of India as an Assistant Vice President. Most recently, in 2020, they joined MinkasuPay as Director of Business Development, then Senior Business Development Manager, and finally Business Development Manager, where they offered biometric authentication for online payments in India.

Thiru Murugan's education history includes completing a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Rajalakshmi Institute Of Technology between 2008 and 2012, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Marketing from Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli between 2015 and 2017, and 12th standard in Maths Biology from Ideal Higher Secondary School between 2006 and 2008.
