Omar Rodriguez

Omar Rodriguez has extensive experience in financial analysis and cost management within the mining industry. Currently serving as Supervisor Corporativo de Costos at Minsur S.A. since October 2015, Omar leads the analysis and consolidation of costs for mining units and smelting, utilizing SAP for cost closing processes and implementing process improvements. Prior experience includes roles at Glencore from February 2007 to October 2015, where Omar contributed as Analista de Planeamiento Financiero, managing production reporting and overseeing a USD 70MM investment portfolio, and as Analista Contable Financiero, leading strategies for enhancing accounting operations. Earlier experience at LAN Airlines from June 2001 to September 2006 involved managing financial operations and accounting. Omar holds a diploma in Cost Management for the Mining Cycle from GERENS Escuela de Postgrado and a diploma in Costs and Finance for Mining Companies from the same institution.
