Yuri Gallo

Yuri Gallo is a seasoned engineering and project management professional with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Vice President of Projects at Minsur S.A. since August 2014. Gallo has overseen the expansion projects portfolio, focusing on screening studies, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies, and project execution. Previous positions include Project Development Manager at Ausenco, where responsibilities involved field engineering for the Constancia Project, and a range of managerial roles at BHP Billiton, including Engineering Manager for various uranium technology projects. Gallo's experience extends to Newmont Mining Corporation and Southern Peru Copper Corporation, contributing significantly to project engineering, management, and execution in various capacities. Gallo holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and an MBA from Universidad Particular de Tacna.
