Ed Lea

Ed Lea has a long history of working in the tech industry. In 2008, they founded edlea.net and created TV Plus, the first iPhone app to set Sky+ Remote Record on iPhone, and iPhone MMS, which allowed UK iPhone users to send and receive photo messages for the first time. From 2004 to 2008, they worked at Transitive as a Pre-Sales Consultant and Software Engineer, helping sell QuickTransit to customers in Europe and developing dynamic binary translation software. In 2009, they joined Grapple Mobile as CTO, where they helped grow the business from a team of 4 to almost 100 people with offices in London, New York, and Toronto. In 2015, they became the CTO of LifeWorks - Employee Engagement Platform, a mobile employee engagement and wellness platform that serves 50,000 companies with over 15 million users. In 2021, they began working as an Advisor for Common Surface, and in 2022 they became a CTO Advisor for Mintago. Most recently, in 2019, they began working as Charging Electric Vehicles for Charge Fairy.

Ed Lea attended The University of Manchester from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a MEng in Computer Science.
