Elias Matinde

Elias Matinde holds a PhD in Metallurgical Engineering and an MBA, with extensive experience in pyrometallurgy research and technology development. They served as the Executive Manager and Head of New Technology in the Pyrometallurgy Division at Mintek from 2021 to 2022 and have also held various academic positions, including Senior Lecturer at the University of the Witwatersrand. Elias has contributed to the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy as the Zimbabwe Branch Chairman and is a Fellow and Past President of the institute. Their research spans multiple organizations, emphasizing metallurgical processes and technology transfer.
