Elmar Muller

Elmar Muller is the Executive Manager of Hydrometallurgy at Mintek, a position held since 2022. They previously served as Senior Research Engineer at DetNet South Africa from 2014 to 2021, after working as Chief Technologist and Product Manager at AEL Mining Services in 2013 and 2014. Prior to that, Elmar was a Senior Principal Scientist at BHP Billiton from 2003 to 2008, and held the role of Process Development and Remediation Leader at The Dow Chemical Company from 1997 to 2003. Elmar holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Pretoria and an MBA in Strategy from The Open University.
