William Shipman

William Shipman is a seasoned professional in the field of electrical and electronic engineering, currently serving as the 4IR R&D Leader in the Measurement and Control division at Mintek. They began their career at Mintek as a vacation worker, focusing on the development of simulation software and 3D visualization tools for furnaces. Over the years, William progressed through various roles, including Engineer and Senior Engineer, and contributed significantly during their tenure as an Engineer in Training and as a Principal Engineer. William also has academic experience, having worked as a tutor at the University of Johannesburg while earning multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
