Alex Beckett

Alex Beckett is a seasoned professional in the food and drink sector, currently serving as Senior Director at Mintel since March 2011, where responsibilities include managing consumer surveys and producing acclaimed reports on UK markets. Previous roles at Mintel encompassed Director and Associate Director positions within the Food & Drink division, as well as serving as a Global Food and Drink Analyst. Prior to Mintel, Alex was the Food & Drink Editor at The Grocer magazine from 2007 to 2011, achieving global news exclusives and conducting high-profile interviews with industry leaders. Alex began a career in education as a class teacher at St Bede Primary School from 2001 to 2004 and holds a PGCE from the University of Southampton and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Winchester.
