Rich Shepherd is an experienced Category Director at Mintel, having held multiple roles since joining the company in November 2013. Currently, Rich oversees the B2B and Lifestyles research teams, publishing over 60 market and consumer research reports annually, while also leading social and economic research in the UK. Prior to Mintel, Rich served as an Associate Director and Senior Financial Services Research Analyst at McCallum Layton, managing comprehensive quantitative research projects. Additionally, Rich held the position of Credit Officer at HSBC. Rich holds a Master of Arts in Social Research from the Sheffield Methods Institute at The University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution.
