Daniel Jones

Daniel Jones is a Senior Associate in Dispute Resolution at MinterEllison, where responsibilities include commercial dispute resolution, competition law, and commercial arbitration since July 2025. Prior to this role, Daniel served as a Senior Corporate Lawyer at AGL, focusing on competition law, litigation, and strategy from January 2023 to July 2025. Additional experience includes serving as a Committee Member for the Queensland Law Society's Competition and Consumer Law Committee, as well as a Corporate Counsel on secondment at Rio Tinto in late 2022. Earlier positions included a Senior Associate role at J C Shaw & Co., and an Associate position in dispute resolution and tax controversy at MinterEllison. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Economics from The University of Queensland and is pursuing an MBA and a Company Directors' Course.
