Joanne McFarlane

Joanne McFarlane possesses extensive experience in finance operations, particularly within large organizations in the legal and public sectors. At MinterEllison from March 2019 to June 2022, Joanne served as Head of Finance Operations, where responsibilities included leading financial processes across seven jurisdictions, mentoring team members, and implementing automation reforms. Prior roles at the NSW Department of Finance, Services and Innovation involved directorships that focused on managing financial projects, overseeing change management during transitions to SAP, and leading financial due diligence. Earlier career positions included senior financial roles at NSW Department of Commerce, InvoCare, and Grant Thornton LLP. Joanne holds an Executive Masters in Public Administration from the University of Sydney and is a Professional Member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.
