Jonathan Kelp

Jonathan Kelp is a Partner at MinterEllison, specializing in intellectual property and technology, particularly within the life sciences and technology sectors. With a strong background in litigation, Jonathan has participated in significant IP disputes in the Federal Court and High Court, including major pharmaceutical patent cases. They have extensive experience in advising clients on the regulatory landscape for medicines and medical devices, and are recognized for their role in challenging Australia's regulatory approval process for biosimilar medicines. Previously, Jonathan served as a Senior Associate at MinterEllison and as a Solicitor at King & Wood Mallesons. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Tasmania.
