Leyland Yang

Leyland Yang is a Computer Science student at the University of Southern California, expected to graduate in 2025. Leyland has accumulated diverse experience in software engineering, including internships at NeuroLeap Corp, MathWorks, and Optony Inc., where Leyland contributed to API development and delivered a financial modeling tool for vehicle electrification. Leyland also served as a Product Engineer at Mintlify and participated in undergraduate research at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering, focusing on Oncology Decision Support and machine learning classifier design. Additionally, Leyland has experience as a Full Stack Engineer with HackSC, developing tools for hackathons and launching user interface kits. Prior to these roles, Leyland worked as a crew member at Five Guys Enterprises.
