Abbey focuses her practice on capital markets transactions, corporate and securities law, and general corporate matters. She has experience with public offerings, including IPOs for special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs), as well as securitizations, business combinations involving SPACs, high-yield debt offerings, and securities law compliance. Abbey represents public and private companies in a variety of industries, including financial services.

Prior to joining Mintz, Abbey was a capital markets associate at a New York-based global law firm, where she had previously worked as a summer associate. Her role at the firm included advising public and private companies on transactions, corporate matters, and SEC filings.

In law school, Abbey served on the Virginia Law Review.
