Holly Rigby

Holly is an associate in the patent prosecution practice and a registered patent attorney who brings in-house experience to her representation of clients in a range of high technology fields.

Prior to joining Mintz, Holly was a patent attorney at ClearMotion, Inc., where she monitored internal engineering developments to identify patentable materials and collaborated with inventors to prepare patent applications relating to automotive technologies, including active suspension systems, hydraulic devices, and cloud-based software. Holly also has experience as an associate in the Boston office of a global intellectual property firm. In that role, she handled patent prosecution and strategic counseling related to medical devices, consumer products, robotics, mechanical devices, image processing, and electronics.

While earning her degree in Biological Engineering at MIT, Holly conducted research at the Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, focusing on fabrication techniques for the production of microfluidic channels in hydrogels as a method of three-dimensional cell culture. Holly also worked as an intern at Boston Scientific, where she created new testing methods for a hypertension-reducing medical device.

In addition to her law firm work, Holly is an adjunct professor at New England Law | Boston, where she teaches IP Contract Drafting.
