Jaime Lee

Associate at Mintz

Jaime focuses her practice on capital markets transactions, corporate and securities law, and general corporate matters. She represents issuers, underwriters, and loan sellers in private placement transactions and securitizations, advises clients on securities law compliance, and drafts loan and other corporate agreements. She primarily works with companies in the financial services sector.

Prior to joining Mintz, Jaime was a capital markets associate in the New York office of an international law firm, where she worked on securitizations and financings.

While attending law school, Jaime served as a judicial extern for Presiding Justice Lee Smalley Edmon of the California Court of Appeal. In law school, she was an articles editor of the Cornell Law Review and a teaching assistant for a Business and Hospitality Law course.

Before attending law school, Jaime worked as a legal assistant at a New York–based personal injury and medical malpractice law firm, where she provided support for drug and medical device litigation.

Jaime also maintains an active pro bono practice that has included advising small business owners on intellectual property rights, website user agreements, and privacy policies and assisting a nonprofit organization with securing 501(c)(3) status.
