Sam is a corporate attorney who focuses on emerging company matters, venture capital financings, and mergers and acquisitions in the firm’s Energy & Sustainability Practice Group.
Prior to joining Mintz, Sam worked for five years at an international law firm in Amsterdam, where he was initially an associate in the Corporate and M&A Practice Group and most recently served as a senior associate in the Energy and Industry Practice Group. He regularly led venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, capital markets offerings, and joint ventures, including drafting and negotiating primary documentation and directing due diligence investigations. During his time with the firm, Sam also completed an MBA Highlights Program at INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.
Earlier, Sam was an associate in the Technology & Life Sciences Practice Group of an international law firm in New York City, where he also executed on the above-listed transactions and served as outsourced general counsel to numerous New York- and Boston-based technology and life sciences companies.
While earning his JD at Brooklyn Law School, Sam served as an articles editor for the Brooklyn Law Review.
