untold but interesting story behind our perfume startup name MiO it derives from Spain and Italy. In Spain, mio is refer to "Own" something and in Italy, it means "My". So both of these words collectively show possession of something and are related to the person personally. 
Here we came to the conclusion that every person carries their fragrance as their possession. We wanted a name that was simple, easy to remember, and would be associated with human emotions. What better way to do this than by using the word “mio”?
