Matt Ignor

Matt Ignor has extensive work experience in engineering, manufacturing, and business development. Matt is currently the Vice President of Engineering and Manufacturing at Miovision, where they lead cross-functional teams in developing new products for intelligent transportation. Matt is responsible for new product introduction, certifications, supply chain, and mass production. Additionally, they lead a global team in providing accurate and timely traffic data for infrastructure decision making.

Prior to their current role, Matt held several senior positions at Miovision, including Senior Director of Hardware Development, Manufacturing, and Data Services, Senior Director of Hardware Development and Manufacturing, Director of Hardware Development, and Hardware Engineering Manager. In these roles, they gained experience in leading hardware development, managing manufacturing processes, and overseeing a team of highly skilled individuals.

Before joining Miovision, Matt worked at BlackBerry as a Senior Mechanical Designer and Mechanical Designer. Matt contributed to the design and development of mechanical components for BlackBerry products.

Matt also worked as a Business Development Consultant at QuickContractors.com Inc., where they focused on business growth and development.

Earlier in their career, Matt gained experience as a Tool Maker Apprentice at Answer Precision Tool. Matt was involved in the creation of checking fixtures for the automotive industry, including CNC machining, hand machining, reading drawings, and working with tight tolerances.

Matt Ignor attended Conestoga College from 2003 to 2007 where they earned a B.A. Tech degree in Mechanical Systems Engineering.
