Ryan Skoblenick

Ryan Skoblenick has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ryan started their career in 1994 by founding their own company, psiberian landscapes inc., where they designed websites and web applications, provided web hosting services, and built custom PCs for clients. In 2005, they worked as a Web Developer/Multimedia Specialist at ANSYS, Inc., where they maintained existing web projects and enhanced their functionality. In 2007, they joined JLT Insurance Brokers Ireland Ltd as a Web Application Developer, where they managed and extended the capabilities of the company's intranet and created creative mockups for web properties. From 2008 to 2011, they worked as a UI Designer at Wireless Ronin Technologies, focusing on projects for clients such as Chrysler Group LLC and ARAMARK. In 2011, they worked as a Frontend Web Developer at Tsavo Media Inc. In 2012, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Xyratex (acquired by Seagate Technology), where they contributed to the design and development of a core framework for ClusterStor's next-generation products. Ryan then joined Seagate Technology as a Staff Engineer in 2014 and was responsible for feature testing, implementation, and debugging in Python. In this role, they achieved significant technical debt reduction. Finally, in 2015, they joined Miovision as a Senior Full Stack Developer, where they worked with technologies such as JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular, React, and D3.

Ryan Skoblenick's education history includes attending Sheridan College from 1998 to 2001, where they studied Computer Programming. Later, they pursued a Post Graduate Certificate in Interactive Multimedia from Sheridan College, which they completed from 2002 to 2003. Alongside their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including "Learning Threat Modeling for Security Professionals," "Learning the OWASP Top 10," and "Ansible Essential Training," which were obtained from LinkedIn in 2022.
