Bitanshu Das

Bitanshu Das has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Bitanshu started their career as an intern at MiQ in January 2016. Bitanshu then worked as a Data Engineer from May 2016 to December 2017, where they were responsible for creating reports, using Hive, and optimizing queries for cost reduction. From January 2018 to February 2020, Bitanshu worked as a Senior Data Engineer at MiQ, focusing on log level feeds and using tools like Hive, Spark SQL, and Qubole. Bitanshu then served as a Lead Data Engineer from February 2020 to July 2023, managing a team and ensuring cost-effective processing and infrastructure. Bitanshu also had a previous experience at Grapal in 2015 as an Analyst, where they converted unstructured texts into structured data and performed sentiment analysis. Before that, they worked at Coal India Limited as an Assistant Manager in Production and Operation from July 2012 to July 2014, overseeing coal production, safety management, and quality control.

Bitanshu Das completed a Certification in Business Analytics from Praxis Business School in 2014-2015. Prior to that, they obtained a B.Tech degree in Mining Technology/Technician from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela in 2008-2012. Bitanshu completed their high school education at St. Michael's High School from 1996-2007, focusing on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Bitanshu also holds additional certifications including Architecting on AWS from Amazon in 2022, Academy Accreditation - Databricks Lakehouse Fundamentals from Databricks in 2022, Numerical reasoning (Hard) from TestDome in 2015, and R Programming from Coursera in 2014.
