Lily Yang

Lily Yang has a diverse range of work experience in various creative roles. Lily is currently working as a Creative Designer at MiQ since June 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Admissions Representative at Long Island Business Institute from September 2020 to May 2021, where they assisted English and Mandarin-speaking students with enrollment processes, answered their inquiries, and coordinated tutoring and tests.

Before that, Lily worked as a Communications Assistant at the Social Policy Institute at Washington University in St. Louis from November 2019 to August 2020. In this role, they focused on creating designs and branding materials for the newly-established institute, as well as editing their official website and implementing SEO strategies.

In 2019, they gained experience as a Design Intern at both Ben Wood Studio Shanghai (May to July) and GiftAMeal (October 2018 to June 2019). At Ben Wood Studio Shanghai, they developed their design skills through various projects. At GiftAMeal, they executed posters, flyers, and online advertisements, while also providing feedback on the UI/UX of the app and website, as well as creating graphics for both platforms.

Additionally, Lily has worked as an Associate at Snarfs Sandwiches from October 2018 to April 2019, and as a Creative Intern at Seiden from May to July 2018. At Snarfs Sandwiches, they fulfilled various responsibilities in an associate capacity. At Seiden, they managed design projects for clients such as The NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and Health Quest, creating advertisement banners and animated videos, respectively. Lily worked closely with creative directors, account managers, and fellow interns during this internship.

Lily Yang completed their Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Communication Design and Marketing from Washington University in St. Louis from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, in 2015, they attended Pratt Institute, although details about the degree and field of study are unavailable.
