Ryan Zhang

Ryan Zhang is a Senior Engineering Manager at Mirantis, having joined the company in 2019 after promoting through roles from Senior Software Engineer to Engineering Manager. At Mirantis, Ryan oversees the growth of a team from 4 to 14 engineers while mentoring geographically distributed teams to foster collaboration and achieve results. Prior experience includes significant roles at Docker, Inc., focusing on performance and scalability for Docker Enterprise, as well as full-stack development for Comprehend Systems and notable contributions at Cisco, where a packet capture feature for switches was recognized with a Pioneer Award nomination. Ryan holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UCLA, a Master’s Degree from the University of Minnesota, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
