Derek Elder

Derek Elder is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the technology and service provider sectors. Currently serving as President of the Service Provider Business Group at Sercomm, Derek leads the development of advanced broadband technology solutions. Previous roles include President of Sercomm Technology Inc., strategic advisory positions across several firms including Intraway and DVA Mechanics, and founding Derson Advisors and Derson Capital, which focus on guiding technology companies to growth. Additionally, Derek has held advisory board positions at Technetix, Vecima Networks Inc., and Zoom Telephonics. Derek holds an MBA from Penn State University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, complemented by executive education at Columbia and Harvard Business Schools.
