Ben Self

Ben Self has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Ben began their career with Peoples Bank of East Tennessee as a Bookkeeper/Teller in 2007. In 2008, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Tennessee. From 2009 to 2011, they served as a Retail Sales Consultant at Vanderbilt Mortgage and Finance, Inc. In 2012, they joined EY as a Staff Tax Accountant and gradually progressed to the role of Senior Tax Accountant, where they worked until 2018. From 2015 to 2015, they were briefly positioned within the EY Global Delivery Network and Tax Global Talent Hub as a Senior Tax Accountant - India. In 2018, they transitioned to Agilysys as a Tax Manager until 2020. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Tax Manager at Mirion Technologies, Inc., starting in 2020, and they are currently serving as the Tax Director since October 2021.

Ben Self received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2007 to 2011. Following this, they pursued a Master of Accountancy in Taxation at the same university from 2011 to 2012.
