Derek Hofferber

Derek Hofferber is a Senior Software Integration Engineer at Mirion Technologies, Inc., since August 2022, following the acquisition of the Collins Aerospace division. Prior to this role, Derek served as a Software Engineer II at Collins Aerospace from February 2017 to August 2022, focusing on fielding converged systems for Nuclear Power Plants that integrated access control, video management, cyber security, networking, and security systems. Earlier experience includes positions as Software Engineer 1 and Scrum Master at MEDHOST from June 2011 to December 2016 and as a Junior Software Developer, the sole developer at the company. Derek earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Game and Simulation Programming from DeVry University between 2006 and 2009.
