James Cocks

James Cocks assumed the role of Chief Product Officer in July 2022. He was previously North America Detection & Measurement Division President for three years and, for three years prior to that, Characterization Division President. James served as Chief Technology Officer for Canberra Industries before its acquisition by Mirion in 2016. During his 17 years with the company, he held management positions in Product Management, Engineering and Business Development. He began his career as a Research Physicist working at the Accelerator Laboratory at University of Jyväskylä, Finland. He holds a PhD in Nuclear Physics from Liverpool, UK and an MBA from Henley Business School, UK.
