John Torell

John Torell, CPA, has a diverse work experience in the field of taxation. John started their career as an International Tax Intern at Deloitte in 2013. After completing their internship, they joined the University of Georgia as a Student Affairs Graduate Assistant. In 2014, they returned to Deloitte and worked as an International Tax Consultant for two years before being promoted to the position of International Tax Senior. In 2018, they were further promoted to the role of International Tax Manager. In 2019, John joined Deloitte UK as a US Business Tax Manager and later became the US Business Tax Senior Manager. Currently, they are working as the International Tax Director at Mirion Technologies, Inc. starting from February 2023.

John Torell, CPA, obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Accounting from The University of Georgia in the years 2009 to 2013. John further pursued a Master of Accountancy with a specialization in Taxation at the same university from 2013 to 2014. Prior to their tertiary education, John attended Tift County High School from 2005 to 2009. John is also a certified CPA, accredited by the Georgia State Board of Accountancy.
