Tim McMahon currently serves as the Director of Quality & Operational Excellence at Mirion, overseeing quality and lean process initiatives across North America since May 2020. Previously, Tim held roles including Senior Manager of Strategy & Operational Excellence at Mirion, Lean Implementation Champion at Legrand North America, and Quality Manager at JDS Uniphase Corporation. A founding contributor to A Lean Journey Blog, Tim has also been active in various leadership positions within associations such as ASQ and AME, focusing on quality and operational excellence. Tim's experience spans lean manufacturing, quality management, and engineering, starting with roles at Lucent Technologies and SpecTran Corporation after earning a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
