Chris Garner

Chris Garner has a diverse work experience in the legal and finance sectors. Chris is currently working as the Managing Director (Mirova UK) at Mirova, where they execute natural capital and energy transition strategies. Previously, they served as an Associate General Counsel at SunFunder, a leading source of debt capital for solar solutions in emerging markets. Chris also worked as a Legal Consultant - Fund Investments at CDC Group plc and a Consultant Counsel at EBRD. With a specialization in development finance and impact investing, they were a Legal Director at DLA Piper and a Senior Legal Counsel at FMO. Chris has also been actively involved in the impact finance sector as a committee member at The Global Impact Investing Network and seconded to DEG for closer ties with FMO. Prior to that, they co-founded a successful not-for-profit networking event company and worked as a Senior Counsel at Wardynski & Partners, one of the largest independent law firms in Poland.
