Mitsu Reddy

Mitsu Reddy has extensive work experience in the field of research and development. They have held various roles in different companies, starting with Visigen Biotechnologies and Life Technologies in 2003 as a Senior Scientist. In this position, they played a key role in developing feasibility data for a single-molecule sequencing platform, conducting experiments on surface chemistry and DNA immobilization.

In 2010, Mitsu joined Ion Torrent by Life Technologies as a Senior Staff Scientist. During their time there, they made significant contributions to the development of various products and collaborated with teams from multiple disciplines.

They then moved on to Cirina in 2017, where they worked as a Senior Staff Scientist for a brief period before joining GRAIL, Inc. as a Senior Staff Scientist in the same year. At GRAIL, they led the assay team for multiple projects and delivered an optimized enrichment assay for a liquid biopsy test.

Currently, Mitsu Reddy is working at Mirvie as an R&D Manager, and has recently taken on the role of R&D Director. Their responsibilities include leading assay development, managing and coordinating sequencing data for discovering pregnancy-related complications.

Mitsu Reddy obtained an M.Sc in Genetics from the University of Madras from 1990 to 1992. Subsequently, from 1997 to 2002, they pursued a Ph.D in Cell and Molecular Biology at the University of Houston.
