Vikrant Kumar

Vikrant Kumar, Ph.D., is an Associate Director at MiRXES, where they lead bioinformatics and the single-cell task force. With over a decade of research experience, Kumar has a robust background in genomics, focusing on evolutionary, medical, and cancer genetics. They previously served as a Research Fellow at Duke-NUS Medical School, where they advanced statistical analysis techniques in single-cell RNA-seq and multi-omics data. Kumar completed their Ph.D. in Human/Medical Genetics at the Indian Statistical Institute and has held significant roles, including Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Associate at the Genome Institute of Singapore, where they trained students and contributed to major projects in bioinformatics.
