Ahmad Risdan

Ahmad Risdan, SPHRi, PHRi has had extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Ahmad is currently serving as the Head HR Operations at MISC Berhad since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Human Resources at Uzma Berhad from September 2019 to October 2021. Before that, they held the position of Head of Human Resources at CMC Engineering Sdn Bhd from July 2016 to August 2019.

Ahmad also took a career break where they backpacked across 12 countries in Asia and Europe from December 2015 to June 2016.

Earlier in their career, they worked at SapuraKencana Petroleum Berhad's Corporate Human Resources division, where they held various roles. Ahmad served as the Group Talent Planning, Initiatives & Analytics from September 2014 to November 2015, Head of Human Resources for the Offshore Construction & Subsea Services Business Division from June 2012 to August 2014, and Senior HR Business Partner for the Offshore Services Business from May 2008 to May 2012.

Ahmad's work experience also includes being an HR Manager at CIMB Aviva Assurance from January 2007 to April 2008, and an HR Relationship Manager at HSBC from June 2004 to December 2006.

Ahmad Risdan received a Bachelor's degree in Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies from Multimedia University in the years 2001 to 2004. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications including the Professional in Human Resources - International™ (PHRi™) and the Senior Professional in Human Resources - International™ (SPHRi™) from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2015. Ahmad also holds certifications in ISO 9001 Lead Implementer - Quality Certification from Lloyd's Register in 2014, Thomas Personal Profile Analysis from Thomas International in 2011, and DDI Facilitator for Maximizing Performance from DDI | Development Dimensions International in 2010.
