Chery Allen

Chery Allen has extensive experience in volunteer management and community outreach, currently serving as the Veterans and Volunteer Resource Facilitator at Southwest Solutions since February 2011, where efforts focus on engaging donors and volunteers to support veterans and underserved populations. Previously, from August 1988 to October 2009, Chery held the position of Director of Volunteer Services at St. John Macomb and Oakland Hospital, overseeing the recruitment and placement of volunteers and managing hospital gift and coffee shops operated by volunteers. Chery's educational background includes studies in Business at Baker College and a Certificate in Volunteer Management from the American Society of Directors of Volunteer Services, complemented by a high school diploma in Business from Finney High School.
