Aubrey Johnson

Aubrey Johnson has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Vice President of System Planning & Competitive Transmission at Midcontinent Independent System Operator since October 2017, after previously holding the position of Executive Director in the same area. Prior roles include Vice President of New Mexico Operations at Public Service Company of New Mexico from November 2012 to June 2017, and various leadership positions at GE Energy, Southern Company, Southern Power, and Georgia Power Company. Aubrey's expertise encompasses transmission policy, operational management, and technical services, complemented by a strong foundation in mechanical engineering obtained from Tuskegee University.
