Jay Hermacinski

Jay Hermacinski is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience in both the corporate and military sectors. At Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), Jay served as Corporate Communications Manager, where responsibilities included leading the development of a digital communications strategy and collaborating with external stakeholders to maintain the company's reputation. Additionally, Jay held roles as Performance, Training and Qualifications Manager and Operations Information and Communications Manager, focusing on operational training, compliance, and effective communication of strategic initiatives. Earlier career experience includes serving in the U.S. Army, where leadership was demonstrated in managing teams and resources, and working as a TV News Reporter & Anchor, where skills in conveying complex information clearly were honed. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in National Security/Public Affairs from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
