Long Zhao

Long Zhao has over ten years of professional experience in power systems, wholesale energy markets, and long-term resource planning. They have held various roles at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), including Senior Operations Risk Assessment Advisor, where they focus on solar integration and operations risk assessments. Long's earlier experience includes an internship at ISO New England Inc. and a research assistantship at the University of South Florida, where they developed advanced algorithms and taught undergraduate courses. They hold a PhD in Operations Research from the University of South Florida and have contributed to numerous high-impact publications in the field.
