Ryan Westphal

Ryan Westphal is a Manager of Generation Interconnection at Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO), responsible for leading a team that conducts Resource Adequacy assessments and studies, ensuring compliance with NERC and FERC requirements. Previously, Ryan held various roles at MISO, including Manager of Probabilistic Resource Studies and Senior Resource Forecasting Engineer, where they led critical studies to maintain system reliability. Ryan began their career as a Dietary Aide at Allina Hospitals & Clinics from 2001 to 2007. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota in 2007.
