Steven Clay is an in-house energy law attorney currently serving as Senior Corporate Counsel at Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) since 2021. Previously, they held the position of Senior Counsel at CenterPoint Energy from 2015 to 2021, where they represented the company on Minnesota regulatory matters and managed Federal Communications Commission regulatory issues. Steven earned a Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Management and Music from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Minnesota Law School. In addition to their legal career, they are a musician and a supporter of the arts and human rights advocacy.
