Anne Sorensen

Anne Sorensen is an experienced nonprofit leader with a strong background in philanthropy and program development. Currently serving as the Director of Philanthropy for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team since August 2023, Anne leads organizational fund development efforts and is a member of the Leadership Team. Previous roles include Executive Director at the Delphi Quest Foundation, where Anne oversaw corporate social impact activities, and US Country Representative for VSO USA, establishing the organization's presence in the US market. With further experience at The Pew Charitable Trusts, The Global Fund for Children, and various other organizations, Anne has developed expertise in grantmaking, partnership building, and strategic project management. Anne holds a BA in History and International Relations from Brigham Young University and an MPA in nonprofit management and economic development from Indiana University Bloomington.
