Bernard Heng

Bernard Heng is a skilled urban and program specialist with extensive experience in humanitarian response, urban planning, and design. Currently serving as a Program Specialist at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, Bernard oversees disaster response efforts, notably in the support of the Myanmar Earthquake 2025. Prior roles include Co-Founder of ReportLah! and Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Singapore, where Bernard provided critical socio-political analyses and organized high-level diplomatic engagements. Previous positions at UN-Habitat involved urban management, design, and community engagement across various projects, enhancing disaster response infrastructure and facilitating community participation in urban development. Bernard holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Arts (Architecture) from the National University of Singapore.
