Hawa Adinani

Hawa Adinani is currently a Tutorial Assistant in the Department of Geography and a Research Assistant focusing on climate change and displacement at the University of Dar es Salaam. With over eight years of experience in open geospatial data, community mapping, and partnerships, Hawa previously served as Programs Director at OpenMap Development Tanzania, where they managed teams and oversaw project implementation. They also worked as a Communications Specialist at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, contributing to humanitarian efforts through effective communication strategies. Hawa holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography and Environment from the University of Dar es Salaam and aspires to research areas related to medical geography and public health.
