Mishell Catucuamba

Mishell Catucuamba is a skilled geospatial engineer specializing in humanitarian mapping and disaster response. Currently, as a Brigade Member for the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, Mishell focuses on generating and validating humanitarian cartography for natural disasters in the LATAM region using geospatial technologies. Previous roles include serving as a Geospatial Consultant for Trufi Association e.V., where support was provided for urban public transport information management in Trujillo and Arequipa, and as a Training Manager at GEOID, leading workshops for public officials in Mexico. Mishell's experience also encompasses field technical work in topographic survey and involvement in regional geospatial initiatives through organizations like YouthMappers. Mishell earned a degree in Geospatial Engineering from the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas - ESPE.
