Philip Hippolyte

Philip Hippolyte is currently a Program Manager at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team, where they focus on community mapping and the use of open data. With a strong background in land surveying and GIS, they have held positions as a Land Surveyor and GIS Coordinator at Acuity Geo since 2016, and previously served as a Project Manager at the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team from 2021 to 2023. Philip's earlier experience includes senior roles at Miller Legg and the Surveys and Mapping Department, as well as their education culminating in a Master of Science in Engineering Science from UNSW. Their interests encompass Spatial Data Infrastructures, GNSS, remote sensing, and terrain mapping technologies.
