Ramya R.

Ramya R. currently serves as the Head of Product & Operations at MapLibre, a position held since September 2024. Previously, Ramya was involved with the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team from May 2018, holding various roles including Product Manager, Senior Product Owner, Module Owner, and Backend Engineer. Before that, Ramya worked as a Consultant Data Engineer at Gramener from December 2019 to May 2020 and as a Senior Data Analyst at Mapbox from April 2015 to December 2017. The early career includes a role as a Build and Release Engineer at Aptean from January 2008 to March 2012 and a technical internship at NLC India Limited in May 2006. Ramya holds an education from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, and is expected to complete a Product Design Fellowship from NextLeap in early 2025.
