Justin Schmidt

Justin Schmidt is an accomplished publicist with extensive experience in the music industry, currently serving at Missing Piece Group since July 2014. At Missing Piece Group, Justin has designed and executed comprehensive press campaigns for high-profile musical artists and brands, achieving notable media results. Previously, Justin founded and operated Post-Echo, an independent record label and production group focused on delivering innovative music and multimedia content. Additional roles include serving as a Public Relations Coordinator at Liberal Arts, where pitching to music outlets and drafting press releases were primary responsibilities, and as a Development Associate at the University of South Carolina, where fundraising strategies were co-developed. Justin began a career with Music Choice as an Operations Assistant. Scholarly credentials include a degree in International Government from Wesleyan University.
