Matthew Yanchek has held a variety of roles since 2006. Matthew began their career as a Laborer at Colonial Gardens, followed by a role as a Package Handler at FedEx Ground in 2008. In 2009, they worked as a Bicycle Technician at DICK'S Sporting Goods, and then as a Ground Staff at Chanticleer Garden in 2010. In 2010, they also began working at Medecision as an Intern Software Developer and then as a Software Developer. In 2012, they became a Co Founder at Missing Wire, where they were responsible for designing, architecting, developing, and maintaining all applications. In 2013, they joined Sonos, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where they architected, developed, and deployed the Sonos Developer portal. In 2019, they became a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer at Crossfit Anacapa, and in 2020 they became a CrossFit Head Coach at Forward Functional Fitness.

Matthew Yanchek attended Phoenixville Area High School from 2002 to 2006. Matthew then attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 2006 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. In 2014, they attended Santa Barbara City College. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including a Software Security Practitioner - Defending Java from Security Compass in 2021, a CrossFit Level 2 Trainer (CF-L2) from CrossFit, LLC in 2020, a Certified CrossFit Trainer from CrossFit Education in 2021, a CrossFit Level 3 Trainer from CrossFit Education in 2021, a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer (CF-L1) from CrossFit, Inc. in 2019, and a Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2014.
